Hello PC Builders!
Today, we’re taking a look at PC Building Simulator 2 v1.7. In the first update of 2024 we have an Endless Mode to test the staying power of our more fervent builders, a collection of new parts to make your builds even cooler, as well as some bug fixes and quality of life improvements. Let’s get into it!
New Feature: Endless Mode
Show that you can go the distance, without straying too far from your workbench, in the new Endless Mode. This hard mode for seasoned players gets right down to it, with no tutorials, no nonsense - just jobs.
Complete as many jobs as you can before you run out of money and show off just how far you can go!

Bug Fixes
General
Light control panel of the MSI theme now resets to the basic view when leaving interaction.
Export PC UI now closes safely.
Screenshot and Export PC buttons now have their intended different functionality.
LTT theme now has glass in the windows.
The tablet and the PC storage cupboard can no longer be opened at the same time.
"Go To PC" no longer pushes the player into the cupboard with the MSI theme equipped.
The Futuristic Office Desk hologram no longer outputs audio with the SFX volume muted.
A PC correctly becomes the shop PC when being swapped under the desk.
Stopped the Player Status bar disappearing after using the Delidding Workbench.
Fixed "Apply on Glass" toggle disappearing when turned on/off.
Clock audio in the Apocalyptic Theme will no longer play audio when the game is muted.

Arctic P12 fans no longer have an abnormal animation when active.
Watercooled motherboards no longer lose the CPU on reload.
Inventory thumbnail for the Phanteks NV7's front panel now has the correct orientation.
Fixed the be quiet! Silent Base 801 Window (Black) not being customisable.
Paint will no longer appear translucent on the Antec P120 Crystal case.
Fans will no longer clip in the top panel of the Phanteks NV7 case.
A watercooled MSI Geforce RTX 3090 Gaming X Trio 24G GPU no longer blocks the side panels of the Antec Dark Avenger DA601 case.
Reduced the scale of the Raijintek MYA RBW to be more accurate.
USBs and Peripheral cables can no longer be installed in the same slot on the Fractal Design Meshify 2 case.
USBs and Peripheral cables can no longer be installed in the same slot on the G.SKILL Z5i Mini ITX case.
Improved the Pipe pathing for Radeon RX6900 XT | Corsair hydro series XG7 RGB.
Fixed PSUs not working when installed in the top bracket of the Raijintek ENYO case.
Fixed painting on the glass of the Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 TG case.
Corrected the compatibility of the EKWB EK-FC GeForce GTX 1070/1080 Ti FE-Clear.
Misc.
Stopped the mouse look bindings from being rebound to something other than the mouse.
AMD theme buildings no longer duplicate with the decorator app open.
Edge scrolling setting is no longer inverted.
Edge scrolling no longer resets after re-opening the application.
Monitor cables now extend correctly to the monitor when loading a save.
Spares'N'Repairs PCs with the Lian Li O11D case now appear properly in the app.
Provided more cables for the Lian Li O11D cases to connect fans to motherboards.
GPU Risers will now route correctly inside the MasterBox NR200P cases.
Cases that don't have glass will no longer appear with the "Do Not Customize Glass" objective.
The top panel of the NZXT H440 case now has to be installed before installing the USB cables.
Thermal app will now close when minimized.
Wireless Peripherals will no longer have a mouse when swapping between bench modes.
The demo ending can no longer be bypassed by clicking "Continue".
Variants of the SilverStone FT05 and the Cooler Master MasterBox NR200P now show the same fan compatibility.
Stopped the Tablet getting stuck when more than one onboarding job is in the workshop.
