Today we’ve got a new major update ready to drop straight out of our hands and onto the floor. It’s time for PC Building Simulator 2 Update v1.4! In today’s update, we’re expanding our water-cooling offering along with introducing exciting new parts, partners and long-awaited CPU delidding.

New Feature: CPU Delidding
In our second tech-tuber team-up, we’re happy to introduce CPU delidding tools inspired directly by Roman “der8auer” Hartung’s Delid Die Mate series products.
Push your processors even further beyond with extra overclocking headroom. Replace the factory compound by removing the integrated heat spreader and applying liquid metal from the serene safety of simulation.

Often requested, today we welcome another heavy hitter to our list of partners – SAPPHIRE! SAPPHIRE has been a red team staple for over 22 years and remains a regular community recommendation at every level of PC building.
Today we welcome their latest PULSE and NITRO+ AMD Radeon 7000 series offerings to PC Building Simulator 2.

Launching with a mission statement that includes ‘pushing the boundaries of the impossible’ AZZA has had a huge impact on PC Building with their novel approach to case designs, reminding us they can be more than a simple box to place parts in.

Adjusted the position of the desk mat.
Moved the Futuristic theme clock closer to the wall.
Objects no longer disappear from walls at certain camera angles.
The updated retail value of custom radiators now shows in the parts breakdown in free build.
Keyboard layouts are no longer reset when loading the game.
Keybind prompts no longer duplicate when using case customisations.
Reordered the motherboard size filter.
Tablet wallpaper now persists when saving/loading.
The OS no longer boots if the boot drive is in the PC but it is not plugged in.
The button prompt for "Open Inventory" now persists after using the tablet.
Fixed camera collisions with the corrugated metal panel in the Post Apocalyptic theme.

Disabled fan installation to a part that is mid-animation.
Fixed the Be Quiet! Pure Wings 2 140mm fan being offset when installed on any radiator.
Fixed a misplaced M.2 standoff on the NZXT N5 Z690 motherboard.
Fixed vertical PCIe slots being installed horizontally on the Hyte Y40 case.
Fixed fans not connecting properly to the motherboard in the SilverStone PM01-RGB case.
Fixed the power cable on the Phanteks G360A case.
AIO cooler cables no longer increase in size when a PC is placed in storage.
Parts can no longer be generated inside other parts in the Fractal Design Meshify 2 Dark TG case.
Updated the model for the MSI MEG Z590 ACE motherboard.
Custom watercooled parts now show the correct watercooled icon when installing the part into a PC.
M.2s with heatsinks can no longer be installed in shielded slots of the GIGABYTE Z690I AORUS ULTRA PLUS motherboard.
Adjusted M.2 slots on GIGABYTE TRX40 AORUS MASTER (rev. 1.0) motherboard.
Stopped the CORSAIR XD3 RGB combo from clipping into the back of the SilverStone FARA B1 case.
The fan hub of the Corsair iCUE 5000T case is no longer removable.
The 4th RAM slot on the MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Edge WiFi motherboard is no longer blocked by CPU coolers.
Side panels can no longer be closed on the drive bays in the Obsidian Series 1000D case.
The EKWB EK-Vardar EVO 140ER RGB fan now spins.
GPUs are no longer installed horizontally in the Hyte Y60 case.
GPUs can now be fully cabled when installed vertically in the Kolink Observatory Z.
The side panels of the Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic case are no longer blocked by watercooled GPUs.
Fractal Design fans are no longer offset when installed on any radiator.
Be Quiet! Pure Wings 2 fans are no longer offset when installed on any radiator.
The ASUS ROG Strix X570-I Gaming motherboard can now be connected to case fans in the Kolink Stronghold Prime case.

Job PCs can no longer arrive with two AIO coolers installed.
Job PCs no longer generate with AIO coolers that are incompatible with the motherboard.
Jobs can no longer require an AIO cooler to be installed when the system arrives watercooled.
Updated cases that can be used in water cooling jobs.
Onboarding
Stopped the tutorial for selling a PC from sometimes getting stuck.
Fixed the exit menu key bind key not closing the note UI at the start of the game.
"Power on the PC" onboarding tips now dismiss correctly.
Localisation
Fixed CTRL and ALT not working with German keyboards.
