PC Building Simulator 2 Update v1.3

Hello PC Builders!

Welcome to PC Building Simulator 2 Update v1.3. In today’s update, we’re expanding our list of AM5 motherboards, teaching water to hold many shapes, introducing more cases, and learning how to swap radiator fans. Additionally, instead of this year’s spring cleaning, we’re skipping into the future with a new free Decorator theme.

First though, before we admire alternate dimension aesthetics or talk about our new Fan tech, it’s time to talk about a long-awaited new partner…

New Partner: Phanteks

Founded in 2007 by an international team of engineers and designers, Phanteks has established itself as one of the most beloved brands in the hardware enthusiast community, known for some of the most innovative, zero-compromise case designs.

Often requested by players, today we’re happy to welcome their first entries from the Enthoo and Eclipse case series to PC Building Simulator 2.

Decorator Theme: Post Apocalyptic

Envisioning the future but prefer to build computers from the comfort of your own dubious cataclysm shelter? Intent on assembling machines through the rise of the machines? Step in and seal the door on the new post-apocalyptic theme.

Fire up your adequately ventilated diesel generators and power on the security system prepper, we’ve got CPUs to burn in test.

New Feature: Customisable Radiator Fans

Need to keep things cool in a more literal than metaphorical buzz word sense? We’re stepping up the custom water-cooling game with another new feature – customisable radiator fans.

Out with the stock and in with your weapon of choice, players can now remove and replace radiator fans via the custom water-cooling bench.

  • Faulty Parts now show up clearly overheating in the thermal app.

  • Thermal App onboarding messages have been updated to reflect the above change.
