PC Building Simulator 2 Update 1.16 - Out now on PC, XSX/S and PS5

Hello PC Builders!

Today, we have a fully packed update in 1.16, and we’ve dropped it across all platforms simultaneously!

It includes the highly requested X3D CPUs from AMD, our first entries for the RX 9000 series of GPUs from ASRock. There are also additional CPU entries from the Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors, and a plethora of cases, motherboards, peripherals, and much more from MSI.

We’re also including a much-requested new feature: mouse and keyboard support for all platforms.

General

• ●Stickers placed on the top panel of the Corsair 1000D now apply properly to the glass.
• ●Pressing “H” whilst naming a PC no longer toggles off the HUD.
• ●Watercooled PCs in the shopfront no longer mark themselves as “Unfinished” when reloading a save.
• ●PCI screws now install in the correct slots in the Thermaltake CTE E550 series cases.
• ●Dust can now be removed from the ARCTIC Xtender series cases.
• ●Dust can now be removed from the Thermaltake CTE E550 series cases.
• ●Thermaltake Pacific SR280 and SR360 AIOs now install correctly in the Raijintek NYX PRO series cases.
• ●The heatsink is no longer visible after removal during Watercooling the MSI MEG Z390 ACE motherboard.
• ●The bank will no longer send out an email for a $0 overdraft fee.
• ●Improved the sorting of “Recently Unlocked” Parts to filter by level and XP percentage.
• ●PCs will no longer boot to OS if the PSU is not powerful enough for the GPU.
• ●Daisy-chaining fans is no longer forced after one fan is connected to the motherboard - headers on the motherboard may be used instead if they are available.
• ●OCCT no longer displays incorrectly on the BENQ EW3880R curved monitor.
• ●Connecting Pipes on watercooled GPUs now ensures pipes have to be connected to an IN and OUT rather than two INs or two OUTs.
• ●Fixed an issue that would occasionally cause a flash of light when reinstalling certain parts.
• ●When searching, GPU Blocks and Motherboard Blocks now take compatible parts into consideration, not just the name of the Block.
• ●CPU Blocks will now show as CPU Blocks in the lighting app, rather than CPU Coolers.
• ●Fixed issue preventing interaction with RAM clips on the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master 1.0 Motherboard.
• ●Cooler Master Mastercase Maker 5t will no longer power-up without the PSU plugged in when using Auto-Cabling.
• ●Improved fan alignment in the Thermaltake Core P3 TG Pro cases.
• ●Highlights in the fan control app are now more precise.
• ●Fixed issue causing AIO piping on some Story Jobs to visually loop.
• ●Dust accumulation in the Thermaltake CTE E550 TG cases will no longer cause endless loading screens in Career and Endless modes.
• ●Loading a freebuild autosave directly after changing a keyboard will no longer cause that keyboard to turn invisible.
• ●Fixed a rare issue that prevented jobs requesting build jobs requiring specific coloured coolant from generating, which could prevent any jobs from spawning.
• ●When installing a new Rigid Pipe, exiting out without installing the pipe will no longer cause a soft lock.

• ●Permanently deleting emails now has audio.

Cabling

• ●Improved riser cable pathing in the Thermaltake CTE E550 series cases.
• ●Improved Non-modular PSU pathing in the Thermaltake CTE E550 series cases.
• ●Improved pathing of Peripheral Cables with the G.SKILL Z5i Mini ITX case.
• ●SATA cables will now be coloured correctly after creating custom cables in the Custom Cable App.

Controller

• ●Opening the inventory whilst the tablet minimisation animation is playing no longer allows you to walk around the workshop whilst in the inventory UI.
• ●The scroll positioning of inventory filters will now reset when filters are closed.
• ●Improved the controls for fan orientation during Custom Watercooling radiators. Orientation can now be controlled just using the left stick.
• ●Removed unnecessary controls relating to selling parts from the inventory in freebuild mode.
• ●The correct icons for controls now show for Tablet Apps.
• ●When case modding, the highlight for the currently selected sticker will no longer be misaligned after switching selections.
• ●Fixed an issue causing the ability to scroll outside of languages options when re-opening the dropdown after changing language.
• ●When closing and reopening the storage cupboard, the PC selection highlight will no longer be misplaced.
• ●Improved alignment on pop-up tooltips during Delidding.
• ●Selecting the colour wheel when case modding now works as described in the controls on the left side of the screen.

Console

• ●Fixed an issue occasionally causing text to not appear or be misaligned for certain languages when using applications on PCs.
• ●XBOX: The airflow app now works correctly.
